Custom backgrounds available with Google Homepage

According to the article, this new feature is a condescending nod toward Microsoft's Bing search engine. This one has regularly background pictures linked to actual events. It has also progressively increased its share on the search engine market since its launch last year.

A new way to differentiate the Google search engine, and to make it more personalized, and so, more essential? Marketing speaking, this new feature could be seen as a packaging adaptation to thank the heavy users of this "Google's product". You use google every day as homepage? Well, here is your benefit, now you can add a personal touch to it, making your homepage suit your desktop's wallpaper. And if it's not enough, you can also use personas from Mozilla Firefox, in order to also dress up you web browser. Who said that fashion and using the web were incompatible?
