HER in communication

Here is the link to the main page of an international forum of branding & communication that took place in Barcelona this month: Rethink, the basis of communication.

This round table about new tendencies has been celebrated for 5 years now in Spain, always with interesting conferences and lectures on different specific topics. In the last edition on 4th march 2010, women were the centre of attention: branding and commu
nication directed by and for them. Different professional lectures took part, like Janne Cunnigham, Philippa Roberts, Avivah Witenberg-Cox, Ignacio Morgado, Alberto Pierpaoli, Carolina Foster Kenny, Jesus Alonso, Alfons Cornella and the American Marti Barletta. They all emphasized the need of a bigger presence of women in the world of communication. They proved with studies, facts, figures and arguments that the woman is a “superpower”.


It is quite interesting to read some of the press notes and surf the ewbpage. Women are gaining importance and power, although I think maybe they exaggerate some parts we just have to take a look in our own course for example: how many boys are there?


Go for it girls, now WE DECIDE.
