During making some of my assignments
I saw that many companies spend enormous
amounts of money when it comes to
marketing because, indeed, it counts a lot
for the well being of companies. So in that moment I was thinking : well, if in
the near future I will set up my own business, which is the cheapest and
interesting way for adding value to my
idea, to my company . Small businesses cannot spend so much money in
marketing campaigns.
After I took a look, I found the answer: Guerrilla marketing and street
marketing ( which is actually a subset of guerrilla marketing ):. Like
guerrilla marketing, street marketing has the characteristic of being non
conventional. However, it is limited to the streets or public places. Other
forms of guerrilla marketing use other media and processes, such as the
Internet, to establish communication with the customers. Some other examples of
guerrilla marketing are viral marketing and experiential
marketing . I think that is the simplest way of offering to the
people what they want the most and they can hardly reach. Nowadays, not
only small companies take advantage of it (as it was at the origins ),
but also well known brands. If you want ro read more
about it, I recommend for reading ‚’’Guerrila marketing’’ written by Jay Conrad
Levinson.
