Last
weekend we were in Amsterdam. Of course we went a bit shopping… and suddenly I
was really impressed of a new Apple Store in the middle of the shopping area.
This store
looks really amazing! Here you can see some pictures to receive an impression
of it:
It’s the
first Apple store in the Netherlands and it was opened in March 2012. It’s
located in a huge, historical building at the Leidesplein square. I think the shop
design fits perfect to the modern and minimalistic design of Apple.
It’s a
great combination of historical architecture, modern glass constructions and light
effects. The bright white walls and the open construction of the inner part of
the shop offer a pleasant and futuristic atmosphere.
In the
ground floor there are a lot of tables, where all kinds of products are displayed
for customers to test them.
In the
upper floor you can find a “Genius Bar”, where Apple experts help you with
questions and give you a technical support.
I really
like this store concept, because people can touch and use the products, they get
technical support and advice from experts and they can just feel the
great atmosphere and enjoy the minimalistic design of Apple.
I think this shop
communicates the values and features of Apple products pretty good.
