New York Public Library needs help: Who you gonna call?

For approximately one month, the New York Public Library is living hard times: facing to big budget cuts, one of the leading publlic libraries in the world and one of the United States' most significant research libraries is in jeopardy.

Even with launching a donation call to be helped, it's difficult for them and their supporters to get their hopes up. That's why the library decided to call the IE team in order to perform an event and to remind the visitors how awesome they are. IE? Not for Internet Explorer (hopefully), but for Improv Everywhere.  This comedic performance art, based in New York, has as slogan "We cause scenes". They usually perform comic and improvised scenes, which are called "missions", and they gladly took up the challenge.

While reminding the introductory scene from the 1st Ghostbuster movie, which was filmed in the library, the improv team let some people dressed up as ghosts in the library, and then, of course, the Ghosbusters' team is coming.

For the rest, I would leave you with the video of this event, which is put below. People seems to really have appreciated the event. Now let's see if the popularity of the New York Public Library would rise enough to draw the attention of potential donators.
