Most of the advertisements meant to promote food products do not use a rational appeal. They don't mention the ingredients that the products contain, nor do they talk about the functional benefits the products bring to the consumer. In fact, the spoken part remains minimal, leaving enough room for the visual one.
They use, instead, appropriate music, creative, colorful and, sometimes, even erotic images, in order to be as likeable as possible in the eyes of the viewer and to give them a positive feeling about a specific brand. The filming angles, the chosen sounds, the fast succession of frames, the flowing evocative images try to awake the viewer's senses, so just by watching the commercial, they can almost feel the taste or the smell of the product.
But the creation of these advertisements is not such an easy job as it may seem. So, I propose to you a video that explains, in a very attractive and dynamic way, the technology involved in the construction of a food product commercial.
