To mark the 75th anniversary of Ray-Ban, Luxottica Group, which owns the brand, introduced a campaign called "Ray-Ban Legends."
In the campaign is reflected not only the history of the brand but the spirit as well, reflected in the signature "Never Hide", which is to "have the courage to be authentic, to express, without any conditions, our own thoughts and own personality," explains the insignia in a statement. In fact, Ray-Ban continues to "remain faithful to the values ​​of authenticity and uniqueness", is part of the DNA of the brand since its inception in 1937.
The campaign brings together icons of the past, present and future, materializing the concept of "Ray-Ban Legends." Photographed by Mark Seliger in California, the campaign runs through seven legendary moments, one per decade, all inspired by the story of a character "real" and "particularly iconoclastic," added Ray-Ban. The construction of the colours was, also, faithfully represented every decade, presenting the campaign in shades of black and white, sepia and color.
