After
discussing with my family and friends I believe that there’s two parts of
people to deal with advertising. The first one who doesn’t like ads, commercial
and everything that refers to publicity. It is the one that skip every
commercial on TV. And the other one is the people who enjoy and like to analyze
and understand advertising. I do belong to this last category. But fortunately I am not alone and among this
part of the population there is the people that like advertising so much that
they play with it, they mix it with the news and they built “fake ads”.
Among my
favorites here we can see :
It says “
to dry your MEGA tears”
The following
ads refer to a mistake made by the French online clothes seller “La Redoute”.
The story is that on their website there was a photo of young kids and we could
see on the background a naked man. So people laughed at it and made funny fake
ads to mock it
Here are
the kids and it says “vacations without a bad surprise”.
“We all
dread to make mistakes” Here to dread stands for “redoute” and it’s also the
name of the company. This fake ad is for a Correction fluid brand Tipp ex.
And the
last one about La redoute mistake is a
fake ad for La Redoute’s first competitor : “Les 3 suisses”. It says “Apparently
not everyone knows that we have bathsuits from 9€99”. Oh yes and this was the naked man.
One of my
favorite is for Costa coisière. It says “See
the world differently”
