In 1997, the french fashion brand Comptoir des Cotonniers decided to create a new marketing campaign. This campaign is called: Mother-Daughter. The brand decided to hire mothers with their daughters to pose together. The mother and the daughter have to say something they love and something they hate and also what they are doing in their lives. These informations will be written on the advertising. With this campaign, Comptoir des Cotonniers exposes the complicity that can be exist between a mother and her daughter to convince that a girl can shop with her mother and shows that its creations are, at the same time, made for 20 years women and also 40 years women. This campaign is really popular in France and in 2010, 12 000 candidates were present for the autumn casting.
